On Thursday June 9th 2011 Dick & Emily Axelrod will be leading an interactive lecture on, Leadership with an Engagement Edge, 'Practical approaches to closing the engagement gap and engaging your organisation in successful change effort.'

Old change management beliefs and practices produce a serious engagement gap between people and the intended change project. The role senior leaders play in building a high engagement methodology is not only significant but economically vital.

Recent research shows organisations with engaged employees are 43% more productive, provide superior customer service and have higher customer loyalty than organisations with disengaged employees. Both Ed and Bob are world-renowned theorist/practitioners and this is a rare opportunity to work with them here in the UK and discuss their powerful insights on how to create the conditions for success within organisations.

Dick Axelrod is the author of Terms of Engagement: New Ways of Leading & Changing Organisations. His work is both timely and significant because he addresses head-on the tendency of organisations to 'go mean' on people during lean times and thus create a huge gap in their engagement with people.

As members of the NTL OD Network, Triumpha will be taking part in this conversation and will share the highlights in our next newsletter.
